We were unable to see brand new buses in the passenger transport in India. Approximately all the buses were upgraded from new engines. The driver and the conductor is must to wear their uniforms.

We went on a trip in the New Year season to Dambulla. We saw a Pancha Pola there. Most villagers get together to a fixed place and playing pancha for money. We saw exchanging thousands of money among them.

There was a new year party on 15th of April 2008 in a village. The group was consisted of elders.
 
They began to enjoy the drink from 10 o’clock but it was not over up to 3 o’clock in the evening.

We participated Baramati Initiatives on ICT for communities in India.Several countries participated on this event including the Intel top management.
 
At the very first day we thought to wear ties,blazers too. But most people did not do it.  The weather very hot there.
 
This was a wonderful experience to us comparing to Sri Lanka.

The annual software awards ceremony of the Uva province was held at the Bandarawela Madya Maha Vidyalaya,Bandarawela,Sri Lanka.
We saw most of the rural schools was awarded.
Dedication of Mr.Anura De Silva,the Director,SEMP-Uva to develop the ICT literacy of the Uva Province is proved.
