This pathetic story reports from Ampara, eastern Sri Lanka. Two children of same family had financial problem to pay the school picnic costs. They found a alternative which is working under a house constructor in Ampara. They got the wages and paid to the school. We appreciate your enthusiasm.

School principal visits Singapore

Mr. Priyantha Rathnayaka visited Singapore on 08th March 2010 to 14th March 2010. The Education for Knowledge Society Project of Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka selected him to the visit. Pitakumbura Public  school won the Microsoft pathfinder school competition-2009. Due to the achievements we reached, the principal able to leave for training session in Singapore. [...]

Blood donation camp (Second update)

Blood donation camp was held on 28th of July 2009 at the Pitakumbura Navodya School in  Bibile in Sri Lanka. The event is annually organized.
