We went on a trip to visit Dehiattakandiya in the Mahaweli “C” zone. It is in the Ampara district. We went via the Bibile city.
We need to pass Rideemaliyadda in the Bibile-Mahiyangana highway to turn Nagadeepa to reach Maha Oya highway to go to the Dehiattakandiya.
The climate is in the dry condition. There are Nagadeepa reservoir, Rathkinda reservoir, Ulhitiya reservoir etc. Need to visit this area to see the beauty of Sri Lanka.
In the end we were used to back to Ampara through the Mahaoya road and the area is under developed.We passed Padiyathalawa, Serankada,Mahaoya,69 junction, Bakki elle,Uhana to Ampara.
