District volleyball champions of Pitakumbura Navodya School is selected to the Provincial tournament. But they did not have a kit to wear to the competition. Today a gentleman fom BOI sponsored a uniform!
Parents of the team players, post master in Pitakumbura and school staff also participated. The gentleman remembered his past and said that he was schooling to the Pitakumbura Navodya School by wearing patched trousers and having only one meal perday.
Most parents and the gentle man began to cry remembering the past of the school.
